She was predeceased by: her parents, Hobert Spurlock and Mae "Toots" Spurlock; her husband Jackie Deel; and her half-sister Phyllis Spurlock Blankenship. She is survived by: her daughters, Camilla Matney (Terry) of Abingdon, VA and Krista Cox (Michael) of Roanoke, VA; her sister Jan Godsey (Danny) of Bluff City, TN.; her grandchildren, Tristan Matney, Colin Matney, Claudia Cox and Guinness Cox; her niece Deborah Lee (Michael) of Bristol, VA; and her siblings-in-law, Irene Deel of Grundy, VA, Lois Deel Shanahan of Grundy, VA and Percy Deel (Evelyn) of Vansant, VA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
