We are sad to announce that on December 19, 2021, at the age of 70, Joseph Terry Simmons of Grundy, Virginia, born in Richlands, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Benjamin Simmons and Kelpia Hess Simmons; his brother Earl Roger Simmons; and his niece Lynn Almourawed. He is survived by: his siblings, Karen Burks (Donald) of Indian Trail, NC and Steven Douglas Simmons (Cheryl) of Myrtle Beach, SC.; and his nephews, Benjamin Simmons, Christopher Burks (Regina Clifton) of Oakwood, VA, Bill Crigger, Jesse Elswick, Harry Scott, Mike Fletcher and Greg Fletcher.
