He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Coleman and Bitha Bentley Coleman; his former wife Georgie Stacy Coleman; his wife Vera Mae Woods Coleman; his children, Jackie Dean Coleman and Emily Whitt; his siblings, Bobby, Glenn, Levi, Ray, Bascom Coleman, Betty Stiltner, Lola Stiltner and Louise Stiltner; and his son-in-law Woodrow Lester.
He is survived by: his children, Janice Lester of Big Rock, VA, Brenda Clevinger (Hensley) of Grundy, Linda Fraley (Danny) of Big Rock, VA, Roy Lee Coleman of Richlands, VA and James Ray Coleman of Newton, NC.; his son-in-law Danny Whitt; his stepdaughters, Kim Stiltner (Pat) of Grundy, VA and Pamela Skeens of Abingdon, VA; and his grandchildren, Kennith Dean Coleman, Timmy Clevinger, Aaron Clevinger, Katessia Lester Charles, Coty Fraley and Eathen Fraley. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
