He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred Shortridge and Helen Shortridge; his son Charles Marion Fisk; his wife Janis Rae Vandervort Shortridge; his daughters, Desiree Sue Fisk, Anne Marie Fisk and Tonya Gail Pilgrim; his siblings, Timothy Wayne Shortridge (Tammy Gail), Mary Angela Singleton (Anthony Timon) and Christy Dawn Shortridge; his niece Hannah Lynn Shortridge; his nephew Joshua Samuel Shortridge; and his great-nephew Carson Jacob Douglas Shortridge. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren.
