With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances Evline Sweeney Lester of Grundy, Virginia, born in Paynesville, West Virginia, who passed away on September 29, 2021 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sweeney and Lula Rose Sweeney; her husband William Stuart Lester; her daughter Connie Lester Rowe; her granddaughter Miranda Lester; and her great grandchildren, Brandon Addair and Laken Vance.
She is survived by: her children, Roy Lester (Kathy) of Grundy, VA and Debbie Lester of Grundy, VA; and her brothers, Henry Sweeney of Tazewell, VA and Cleve Sweeney of Bartley, WV. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and friends.
