It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Flossie Yates Baldwin (Grundy, Virginia), born in Buchanan, Virginia, who passed away on December 2, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Joseph Yates and Rosa Hagy Yates; and her siblings, Bart, Clyde, Glen, Tyler Yates, Naomi Baldwin, Alta Lindsay, Faye Raysor, Estelle Orrick, Leah Keene, Gaynelle Medcalf and Hermie Yates. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many cousins.
Due to the covid epidemic and failing health, she stopped volunteering two years ago.
