It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Jean Ramey of Grundy, Virginia, who passed away on November 27, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Gentry and Rebecca Lee Waters (Mullins); her husband Ralph Ed Ramey; and her siblings, Helen Deel, Raymond Waters, Clyde Waters and Edmond Waters.
She is survived by: her son Douglas G. Smith (Tammy) of Conaway, VA; and her grandchildren, Eddie Smith (Megan Wolford), Austin Smith (Gracie), Lyndsey Daniels (Justin), Ahleah Skye Daniels, Liam Parker Smith and River Guy Daniels.
