With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elster Ray Ramey of Grundy, Virginia, who passed away on May 8, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Ramey and Ada Owens Ramey; and his siblings, Pauline Ramey Clevinger, Woodrow and Hillard Ramey.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Ann Smith Ramey of Grundy, VA; his son Anthony Scott Ramey (Gina) of Grundy, VA.; his grandchildren, Michael Ramey (Danielle) of Louisburg, NC and Monica Billiter (Dylan) of Vansant, VA; his great grandchildren, Levi Ramey, Natalie Billiter and Grayson Billiter; and his caregivers, Paula Scarberry and Gracie Coleman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
