He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Delbert Sykes and Myrtie Sykes; his wife Teresa Potter-Sykes of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; his daughter Karen Sykes Brown (Troy Brown) of Grundy; his grandchildren, Jamie "Jordan" Sykes (Jessica) of Norman, Oklahoma, Bailee Rogers (Austin) of Grundy and Peyton Hall (Kyle) of Georgetown, Kentucky; his great grandchild Rex Rogers; his nephews, Robert Bostic, Scott Bostic, Stanley "Bub" Duty, Jr., Cheyenne Osborne, Mike Getz, Matt Lee, Josh Lee, Duane Church, Anthony Church, Kermit Duty, Jr., Kameron Duty and Darrell Wise; and also Dale Anglin. He was also cherished by wife but also the big family of brothers and sisters.
