Clarence Lester Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarence Lester (Grundy, Virginia), who passed away on January 7, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arch Lester and Caroline Vandyke Lester; his wife Gladys Baker Lester; his brothers, Linse Lester, Luther Lester and Porter Lester; his stepsister Lillie Davis; and his stepmother Tilda Davis Lester.
He is survived by: his children, Loretta Lynn Thornsbury (Aaron) of Grundy, VA, Clarence Dean Lester (Kim) of Grundy, VA, Lacy Baker of Tazewell, VA and David Baker (Lisa) of Linwood, NC.. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Sandy Valley Lodge # 17, P.O. Box 1263 Grundy, VA 24614.
