It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Walker (Grundy, Virginia), who passed away on March 6, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sampy Reed and Martha Blevins Reed; and her sister Francie Ferrell. She is survived by: her children, Terry Walker of Bassett, VA, Brenda Steele of Premier, WV, Jesse Walker of Premier, WV, Jerry Walker of Bassett, VA, Sampy Walker of Bassett, VA and David Walker (Ammie) of Welch, WV; and her siblings, Ronnie Reed of Bassett, VA and Loretta Ferrell of Jacksonville, FL.. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren.
