He was predeceased by: his brother Kevin B. Ratliff; and his grandparents, Dewey, Corria Ratliff (Ball), Bill and Lucy Shields (Cole).
He is survived by: his parents, Sidney B. Ratliff and Janice Sue Ratliff (Shields); his brother Bryan T. Ratliff (Renee) of Abingdon; and his niece Tori Corns (Jarred) of Dublin Virginia.
Due to Covid-19, the family has chosen to have a private service on Monday at Grundy Funeral Home with entombment to follow at Clinch Valley Cemetery in Richlands, Virginia.
