She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Dewey Stanford and Lovada Edwards Stanford; her husband Arlie Edwards; her daughters, Betty Lou Edwards Matney and Sandra Ann Edwards Holmes; her stepson Harold Edwards; and her siblings, Viola Fuller, Dorothy Rife, Beatrice Stanford, Opal Ruth Harlowe, Teddy Stanford, Charles Stanford, Worley Stanford, Clyde Stanford, Chester Stanford and Raymond Stanford.
She is survived by: her sons, Jimmy Darrell Edwards (Diane) of Pilgrims Knob, VA and Rodney Joe Edwards (Donna) of Rosedale, VA; her son-in-law Frank Matney of Vansant, VA; and her sister Sue McBurnett. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
