It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willard Eugene Smiley of Grottoes, Virginia, who passed away on July 28, 2022, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Susan Smiley (Shifflett); his stepsons, Brandon Shifflett and Joey Shifflett; and his cousins, Larry Shifflett and Charlie Shifflett.

He is survived by: his brothers, Tim Smiley (Pattie) of Grottoes and Jeffrey Smiley (Bonnie) of Shenandoah; and his stepson Joshua Shifflett. He is also survived by numerous nieces and great-nieces and great-nephews.
