He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul F. Wolverton and Ruby Stidley Wolverton; his brother Donald Keith Wolverton; and his siblings-in-law, Ruth Wolverton, Evelyn Wolverton, Janet E. Wolverton, Ernest Fulk and Gary Hoke, Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Janet Mays Wolverton; his daughter April Wolverton of Harrisonburg, VA; and his siblings, Frederick Wolverton of Buckeye Lake, OH, Stephen Wolverton of Macon, GA and Dora Ann Fulk of Harrisonburg, VA. He is also survived by sister-in-law.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Old Paths Baptist Church in Weyers Cave.
