He was predeceased by: his sister Cheryl Heeke. He is survived by: his wife Sue Gery (Simmons); his children, Robert Gery (Diane), Christopher Gery (Healy), Chad Gery (Jessica), Amy Payne and Katie Gery; his siblings, Richard Gery (Katie), Ernest Gery, Andy Gery and JoAnn Williams (James); and his niece Joy Krider. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
