It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Frances Patterson of Grottoes, Virginia, who passed away on October 2, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert M. Royer and Minnie Morris Royer; her siblings, Herman, Edna Aldie Royer Miller, Samuel, Norwood, George, Marvin (Nelson), Wilbert (Junior) and Billie; her husband William F. Patterson; and her son Calvin E. Patterson.
She is survived by: her son Curtis F. Patterson (Faye) of Grottoes; her grandchildren, Dana Palmer (Kevin) of Charlottesville and Jill Lemery of Cape Charles, VA.; and her great grandchildren, Jacob Rhodes, Nathan Palmer and Abigail Blaire Palmer.
