With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jon B. Cook of Grottoes, Virginia, born in Roanoke, Virginia, who passed away on January 16, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie H. Cook and Beatrice Cook (Poff); his wives, Marie Ashby Cook and Yvonne Deshaw Cook; and his brothers, Patrick Cook and Curtis Cook.
He is survived by: his son Jon B. Cook II (Jessica); his grandson Jon B. Cook III; his stepdaughters, Leslie Bizilj and Sarah Gopher; his brother Mike Cook (Nancy); his sisters-in-law, Madeline Campbell, Pat Ashby and Judy Ashby; his daughter-in-law Tammie Bryant; and his close friends, Edward and Linda Furrow. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to current Covid concerns and restrictions, the services will be private for the family.
