He is survived by: his wife Johanna Bailey (Shallcross); his children, Karen Mosser, Glenn Bailey, Jeffrey Bailey (Jodi) and Darrell Bailey (Barbara); his sister Laurie Newsome; his grandchildren, Michael Mosser (Angel), Emily Elrod (John), Matthew Bailey (Stephanie), Allison Moses (Vince), Joshua Bailey (Katerina), Brent Bailey, Andrew Bailey (Alayna Campbell), Leah Bailey and Kendall Bailey; and his nieces, June Cooley, Judy Brabrand, Marilyn Oliver and Diana Pennington. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, a great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service (201 Dogwood Ave, Grottoes, VA 24441). A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Augusta Memorial (1775 Old Goose Crk Rd, Waynesboro, VA 22980). A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Mt. Horeb Presbyterian Church (4517 Rockfish Rd, Grottoes, VA 24441).
