She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Catherine (Daggy) and William Edward Fifer; her son Roger Lee Anderson; her granddaughter Tammy Gail Sheets; her brothers, Carson and Carl Fifer; and her close friend Joseph S. Yoder.
She is survived by: her daughters, Norma Jean Cook (Dave) of Bridgewater, Kathryn Ann Foley of Bridgewater, Karen Lynn Anderson of Penn Laird and Pamela Kaye Holsinger of Harrisonburg; and her brother Garland Fifer of Mt. Solon. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
