It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Hugh MacDanel of Grottoes, Virginia, born in Gould, Arkansas, who passed away on June 27, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dalton Babineaux and Inez Laurent MacDanel. He is survived by: his wife Joyce M. Piatt MacDanel; his children, Mark MacDanel (Jerrilyn) and Bonnie Pritchett (Arthur); and his siblings, Patrick MacDanel (Leslie) and Virginia Hartwell (Alan). He is also survived by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
