He was predeceased by: his parents, Kess Morris and Helen Morris; and his siblings, JoAnn Cave and Lonnie Morris. He is survived by: his wife Betty George Morris; his daughters, Kim Hilbert (Jeff) of Grottoes, Dianna Morris of Douglasville, GA and Tina Landes (Kevin) of Linville; his grandchildren, Nathan Hilbert (English), Chris Hilbert (Brianne), Timmy Landes (Katie) and Nichole Landes (Hunter); his great grandchildren, Iris Hilbert, Joel Hilbert, Brady Hilbert, Alden Hilbert, Riley Landes and Sadie Landes; and his siblings, Janet Cave and Allen Smith (Gloria) of Bridgewater. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as his best friend.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kyger Funeral Home - Harrisonburg (3173 Spotswood Trail, Harrisonburg, VA 22801). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
