She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeremy Lipscomb and Erma Lipscomb (Wonderly); her husband Robert Paul "Bud" Hicks; and her brother Donald Lipscomb. She is survived by: her children, Ellen Hicks and Robert Hicks, II (Elizabeth); and her brother Robert Lipscomb. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Grottoes United Methodist Church or the RMH Foundation, the Twila Showalter Fund.
