It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ada Leona Smith (Grottoes, Virginia), born in Speedwell, Virginia, who passed away on August 17, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mam and Edgar F. Funk; her daughter Cheryl S. Calhoun; her daughter-in-law Tracey T. Smith; her grandchildren, Greg Calhoun (Melody), Amanda Ritchie (Clark), Melissa Calhoun-Kelley (Brian), Mindy S. Boitnott (Ryan) and McKenna Smith; her great grandchildren, Dylan Calhoun, Romney, Eston Ritchie, Lydia, Nathan, Savanna, Davis Kelley, Justus, Mason Boitnott, Emma Smith and Ella Hale; her siblings, Walter, Kermit, Paul, Fred, Ralph, Winton, Lola Sutler, Debbie McCurdy and Edith Hearn; and her son Roger Smith.
