He is survived by: his son Durwood Edwards (Gail) of Gretna; his grandsons, Jesse Edwards (Cherri) of Gretna and Christopher Brown of Virginia Beach; his son-in-law Robert Myers of Florida; his great grandchildren, Zach Edwards (Cassidy), Jessie Lynn Edwards, Nathaniel Brown, Morgan Grimes (Joseph), Everett Brown and Devon Brown; and his great great grandchild Gavin Edwards.
