He is survived by: his wife Carolyn M. Adkins; his children, Sue Eanes (Randy) of Gretna, Cindy Roberts (Gary) of Gretna, Tammy Adkins (Tim Eanes) of Gretna and Dean Adkins of Hurt; his sister Joyce Bennett of Gretna; and his grandchildren, Adrianna, Kaitlyn, Joshua, Miranda, Cody and Jake. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
