He is survived by: his wife Mattie Pannell; his grandchildren, Eaven Whitfield, Tameka W. Slayton (T. J.), JaQuina Lowe, Ashley Crider (Edward) and Shawn Lowe; his siblings, Delois Carter (Dave) of Newark, NJ, Mollie Gould of Inglewood, NJ, Edna Graves (Jerome) of Gretna, VA, Maggie Boone of Long Island, VA and George Pannell of Long Island, VA; and his siblings-in-law, Cathleen Logan (James) of Gretna, VA, Patricia Pannell of Bedford, VA and Henry Lewis of Altavista, VA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
