She was predeceased by: her parents, Okey Green Dalton and Eva Watlington Dalton; and her sister Melba Davis. She is survived by: her husband Ned Shelton; her children, Marty Shelton of Gretna and Brenda Strickland (David) of Penhook; her sister Carolyn Short (Paul) of Hurt; her grandsons, Matthew Aaron (Michelle) and Zachary Shelton (Hannah Tribley) of Roanoke; and her great grandchild Mila Aaron. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to Midway Baptist Church, 2136 Midway Rd. Gretna, VA 24557.
