It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Bailey Rowland of Gretna, Virginia, who passed away on December 9, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father William Paul Bailey; her uncle Lester; and her aunt Blanche Dalton. She is survived by: her mother N. Susie Bailey of Altavista; her husband Danny Coleman Rowland; her daughters, Shannon Faris of Gretna, Michelle Hedrick (Wendell) of Lynch Station, Heather Williams (Aaron) of Gretna and Meredith Wright-Johnson; her brothers, Herb Bailey (JoAnn) of Hurt and Winfred "Wink" Bailey (Kathy) of Spencer; her grandchildren, Dakota Hedrick (Micaela), Hunter Faris, Tori Hedrick, Coleman Williams and Arabelle Williams; and her great grandchild Gunner Faris.
