She is survived by: her children, Cathy Hancock (Clarence) of Pittsville, Mike Layne (Janet), Ronnie Layne (Ellen) of Hurt, Daryl Layne (Tammy) of Amherst, Barry Davis (Shannon) of Hurt, Randy Layne of Lynchburg and Melvin Layne of Gretna; and her sisters, Shirley Layne (Gary) of Lynchburg and Sue Irby of Hurt. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
