He is survived by: his wife Deborah Mason Ferguson; his children, Jamie Lee Ferguson of Gretna, Brandy Arnold (Roger) of Altavista and Shannon Cooper of Blacksburg; his mother-in-law Inez Irby of Gretna; his sisters, Betty Merricks of Altavista and Rita Ferguson (Allen) of Rustburg; and his grandchildren, Taylor Barber and Mason Betterton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
