She was predeceased by: her parents, Jabez Gibson and Bonnie Haden Gibson; her husband Robert Herman Midkiff, Sr.; and her siblings, Rither Gibson, James Gibson, Walter Gibson, Elvin Gibson, Nelson Gibson, Mary Martin, Elsie Blevins, Mildred Rowland, Ruth Chamberlain and Jo Ann Giles.
She is survived by: her sons, Alan Midkiff (Pat) of Brandon, FL and Robert Midkiff, Jr. (Gail) of State Road, NC; and her grandchildren, Robert D. Midkiff (Christina), Dennis J. Midkiff (Casey), Matthew G. Midkiff (Kelly) and Laura M. Oakes (Josh). She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
