He is survived by: his wife Anna Pierce Sours; his pet Peanut; his children, Andy Sours (Amanda) of Gretna, Tanya Dalton (Jeffery) of Gretna, Tonya Moses (Bud) of Gretna, Tina Hall of Mt. Airy, NC and Tracy Glass (Steve) of Gladys; and his sister Nina Malone of Maryland. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
