She was predeceased by: her parents, Oris Edgar Young and Martha Chapman Young; her husband Rev. William David "Bill" Lilly; her son David Lilly; and her sister Rosa Lee Lilly.
She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Swart (Mark) of Altavista; her grandchildren, Mark Swart, Jr. (Tami), Jessica Godfrey, Allen Swart (Tori) and William Lilly; her daughter-in-law Dale Lilly; her great grandchildren, Jada, Rachel, Dallas, Noah and Eli; and her caregivers, Virgie Rowland, Martha Osborne, Shelby Easley and Dale Clay.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 306 Vaden Dr, Gretna, VA 24557. A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Gretna (502 Main St, Gretna, VA 24557).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the First Baptist Church of Gretna, P.O. Box 339, Gretna, VA 24557.
