He is survived by: his sons, Dion Owens of Hurt and Brian Owens of Boones Mill; and his siblings, Sam Owens (Darlene) of Gretna, Junior Owens (Mary) of Gretna, Willie Owens (Margaret) of Gretna, Judy Newton (David) of Riner, Rosie Krantz of Body Camp and Lucille Mooney (Bill) of Dublin. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
