She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Benny Giles and Eva Newby Giles; her husband Carl Owen "Joe" Rowland, Sr.; and her daughter-in-law Pamela F. Rowland. She is survived by: her children, Owen Rowland of Gretna, Rose Rowland of Hurt and Bonita Roberts (Tom) of Concord; her siblings, Joe Giles (Marlene) of Altavista, Myrtle Price of Altavista and Wendy Bruce of Hurt; her grandchildren, Brandie N. Worsham (Kevin) and Colena Roberts; and her great grandchildren, Kristen and Darrien.
