She is survived by: her children, Spivy Forte Martin (Elaine) of Gretna, VA, Viston Shyrock Martin (Debra) of Danville, VA, Kwan LeKese Martin (Tonya) of Williamsport, PA and Zelda Martin Patrick (Bobby) of Virginia Beach, VA; her sisters, Dorothy Ward Gilbert of Chatham, VA and Elizabeth Ward Gilbert of Gretna, VA; and her sister-in-law Dorothea Martin McLaughlin (James) of Gretna, VA. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; five step grandchildren; thirteen step great grandchildren.
