She was predeceased by: her parents, George Washington Daniel and Susie Ann Hutcherson Daniel; her former husband Russell Adkins; her husband Elwood Cook, Sr.; her son Jerry Martin Adkins; her grandsons, Ronald Gene Creasy and David "Noody" Daniel; her siblings, Sam Daniel, Minnie Parker, Rosa Daniel, Addie Daniel, Gladys Daniel and Mary Daniel; and her son-in-law Thomas Creasy.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Adkins of Hurt, Betty Creasy (Walter) of Gretna, Patsy Creasy of Gretna, Dorothy Cook (Reggie) of Gretna and Kathy Daniel (Eddie Dean Brumfield); and her sister Georgia Moore of Chatham. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great-grandchildren.
