She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Wilson and Gertrude Wilson; her husband Jimmy Betterton; her fiancé Gerald Crews; and her brothers, Perry Wilson and Mike Wilson.
She is survived by: her son Joey Betterton of Gretna; her sister Deborah Wilson; her grandchildren, Rachel Betterton and Caleb Betterton; and her great grandchild Avery. She is also survived by numerous cousins, and close friends.
