He was predeceased by: his parents, Bud Witcher and Rosa Musgrove Witcher; and his sisters, Shelby A. Witcher and Naomi R. Witcher. He is survived by: his wife Mary F. Witcher; his children, Felicia Witcher of Roanoke, Lawrence Witcher (Kathleen) of Cheltenham and Tara Witcher of Suitland, Maryland; his grandchildren, Lawrence Witcher, Jr., Tanzania Williams, Junius Witcher and Jantzen Miller; his great grandchildren, Elijah, Ryenne and Izaiah Witcher; his sisters, Sylvia A. Hammond of Largo and Rosa M. Gross of Greensboro; his aunt Phyllis Musgrove; his siblings-in-law, Barbara Johnson and James E. Davis (Trudy); his nieces, Donna "Pinkie" James, Natasha "Nikki" Currie and Terry Diggs; his great-nephew Reece Jackson Hammond; and his close friends, Cecil and Edna Coles. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
