He was predeceased by: his father David Herbert Maddox; and his daughter Ariel Elizabeth Merkley. He is survived by: his mother Karen "Kaye" Sue Neal of Gretna; his sons, Kevin Tyler Hille of Maryland and Christopher Todd Trammell of North Carolina; his uncle Herb Neal of Gretna; his aunts, Bonnie Neal of Gretna and Nancy Hughes of Altavista; and his friend Wayne Barbour of Gretna.
