She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Thomas Hastings, Jr. and Betty Mae Adkins Gibson; and her brother Robert Thomas (Hastings, III). She is survived by: her husband Ricky Bowen Taylor; her children, Robin Shields (Keith) of Pittsville and Ricky Taylor, Jr. (Carla) of Gretna; her aunt Barbara Mills (Theta Wilson) of Chatham; her grandchildren, Robert Colton Taylor, Cody Bruce Taylor (Alyssa) and Courtney Davis (Michael); her great grandchild Coleman Lee Davis; and her pets, Rascal and Princess.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Zion Chapel (3660 Zion Rd, Gretna, VA 24557). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
