It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Shenan Stone of Gretna, Virginia, who passed away on July 2, 2022, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Willie Henry Stone, Sr. and Mary Louise Stone; and her uncle John Stone. She is survived by: her parents, Willie Lee Stone of Danville, VA and Melinda M. Stone of Gretna, VA; her brothers, Bishop Kell L. Stone, Sr. (Paulett) of Gretna, VA, Ken Stone (Latasha) of Chatham, VA and Kerby Stone (Jean) of Reidsville, NC; her daughter Destiny Carter; her aunts and uncles, Rachel Hall, Evangelist Joyce Tucker, Viola Adams, Tracey Reynolds (Jack), Phyllis Murrell, Shirley Monroe, Donzell Stone, Roy Stone (Eva), Larry Stone and Darryl Stone; and her friends, Denise Ferrell Stone, Haywood Hall, Saundra Robinson and Laura Roberts. She is also survived by six nieces, five nephews, a host of great nieces and nephews.
