She was predeceased by: her father John Ray Mahan; her grandson Kevin Andrew Crider; her brother Otis Melvin Mahan; and her brother-in-law E. "Pat" Mease. She is survived by: her mother Virginia Blair Mahan of Gretna; her husband Thomas Gaumes; her son Kevin Andre Crider (Jennifer) of Forest; her stepson Justin Thomas Gaumes (Jennifer) of Maryville, TN; her siblings, Oscar Leland Mahan (Cecilia) of Leesburg and Janet Mahan Mease of Sandy Level; her grandchildren, Lt. Matthew Brandon Crider (Allie), Sarah Joyce Crider of Mount Pleasant, SC and Julia Blair Crider of Forest; her mother-in-law JoAnn Mackey Gaumes of Gouverneur, NY; and her stepgranddaughter Jenna Gaumes. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
