He is survived by: his spouse Othelia Waller Ward; his children, Peggy Hall (Lewis) of Renan, VA, Othelia Stone of Gretna, VA, Charlotte Davis (Mitchell) of Hurt, VA, Arlean Stone of Danville, VA, Lawrence Ward (Katie) of Gretna, VA and Charles Ward (Ernestine) of South Boston, VA; and his brothers, Lawrence Ward (Betty) of Gretna, VA and Charlie Ward, Sr. of Hurt, VA. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
