He was predeceased by: his parents, James Miller and Sallie Wray Miller; his daughter Tscharner Miller Dale; and his siblings, Lucille Miller Hall, Minnie Miller Edwards, James, Gordon, Naamon, Alsee, John, Latane and David Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice Dearing; his grandchildren, Tamiah Miller-Dale of Gretna, VA and Trebor Miller of Gretna, VA; his great grandchildren, King and Akieyla; his sisters, Catherine Miller Coleman of Danville, VA and Virginia Miller Womack of Danville, VA; and his sisters-in-law, Arnell Miller of Gretna, VA, Doris Miller Lovelace of Gretna, VA and Shirley Miller of Roanoke, VA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends.
