She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Otey Rowland and Mary Rigney Rowland; her husband Raymond Joseph Jarbeau, Sr.; and her brothers, Morris Randel Rowland, Elwood Lee Rowland and Birchie Rowland.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa J. Jackson of Newport News and Raymond "Joey" Jarbeau, Jr. (Penny) of Charles Town, WV; her brother Lowell Rowland (Melba) of Danville; her sister-in-law Sheila Rowland of Gretna; her grandchildren, Victoria Lynn Jackson, Rachel Christine Jackson and Timothy Joseph Jackson; and her great grandchild Sophia Jackson.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Colbert-Moran Funeral Home, Inc. (307 Main St, Gretna, VA 24557). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Colbert-Moran Chapel (307 Main St, Gretna, VA 24557).
