She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Hubbard and Avella Hubbard; her husband James Theodo Tucker; her grandson Rashad Lamont Hubbard; her brother David Hubbard; and her grandparents, Nae Ross, Blanche Hubbard, Samuel Waller and Laura Davis.
She is survived by: her sons, Lamont Hubbard of Gretna and Luke Hubbard of Norfolk, Virginia; her caregivers, Barbara Slayton of Long Island and Carolyn Barksdale of Hurt, Virginia; her brothers-in-law, David Slayton, Edward Barksdale, Larry Tucker (Mary) and Wayne Tucker (Frances); and her friend Gloria Adams. She is also survived by six aunts, two uncles, three nieces, six nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chapel of Miller Funeral Home (668 Zion Rd, Gretna, VA 24557). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at the Carl O. Moran Memorial Park (307 Main St, Gretna, VA 24557).
