He was predeceased by: his parents, George Nelson Davis and Alma Gertrude Minor-Davis; his wife Gale Ann Reid of Columbus, GA; and his siblings, Nancy Ann Davis Ford, George Dan Davis and Joseph Henry Davis.
He is survived by: his sons, Channing Gerald Davis of Chatham, VA and Sterling Landon Davis (Kelly Woodland); and his sisters, Lorraine M. Davis of Scotch Plains, NJ and Jo Ann Davis-Wayne (Arthur) of Plainfield, NJ.
