She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley Edwards and Bessie Linthicum Edwards; her husband Oscar Martin; her siblings, Joe Wise "Jim" Edwards, Richard "Tom" Edwards, Zachariah Edwards, Saint Matthew Edwards, Randolph Edwards, Reginald Edwards, Virginia Marie Colbert, Beatrice Mease, Louise Edwards and Sally Kate Whitehead; and her half-sister Sadie Cobbs.
She is survived by: her great-aunt Hopie Crider-Edwards; her sister Lucy O'Neal of Washington, DC; her sisters-in-law, Christine "Honey" Edwards, Alma Edwards and Gloria H. Edwards; her niece Dorothea McLaughlin; and her nephews, Corey Edwards, Virgil M. Whitehead and John Mease.
